Ans. :- Third generation of computers are :-
1. They used Integrated circuits ( IC ). IC can contain more than the earliar generation of computers.
2. They were faster and efficient than second generation computers.
3. The users communicated with the computers using input and output devices.
4. This generation remote processing, time-sharing, multiprogramming operating system were used.
5. Examples :- IBM-360 series, Honeywell-6000 series and IBM-370/168.
